You are in that former cow stable over 300 years of an old reed farmyard convenient in Oevenum, a typical Fehringer Frisian village, between geest sands and the adjacent Föhrer marsh, 3.5 km of the city Wyk. Until 1982 were managed this yard by farmer Petersen. The former cow stable was re-designed in the eighties to an inn and afterwards to a restaurant.: the today restaurant Laura. For the smooth service at noon, evening and to the coffee business is responsible since many years Mr. Sonnenberg, who holds some good type for you ready, if you liked to know something about history or the most beautiful trip goals of the island Föhr.
The kitchen, led of Jörn Sternhagen, holds a selection of soups, starters, meat and fish dishes, hearty snacks and salads ready for you to the selection. Daily changing, regional house dishes do not let boredom in the map arise. Seasonally we recommend additionally our asparagus, matjes, mushroom, shell or game dishes to you. To the sweet conclusion you select the fitting please from our ice or dessert menu. For our small guests there is extra a child map. Vegetarian dishes are naturally also offered. In the summer half-year we offer each Monday a cold warm fish buffet to our guests. You can look forward each Wednesday to a three-course herb menu. On hot summer days our likes grill evenings in the garden take place. If you have desire on a good drop wine, our vault holds some surprise ready for you. Also in the open bar we attach importance on quality. Convivial wine-tastings in the context of our winter wine weeks are always an experience, particularly since you are led expert and loosely by the world of the wines. For the beer fan we tap a cool Jever of the barrel.
For festivenesses, like weddings, birthdays, baptism up to max. 30 persons and seminars up to max. 12 persons we put gladly an area to you at the disposal. Agree upon your desires under 04681/59790 with us. Gladly we help.
In own thing:
An advance notification/a table reservation in our restaurant is recommended. This does not facilitate the work in the kitchen for us and you wait unnecessarily long for your meal, because all dishes are freshly prepared for your order by us only after receipt. Thus all dishes become effective optimally and in the best possible way of tasting. There is no temporal regimentation with us, who may remain sitting like for a long time at which table. Finally you have vacation and want to enjoy and not become “fed” in every hour. If we should nevertheless be written off in the core time 18-20 o´clock, then you try it simply nevertheless once starting from 17:30 clock or starting from 20:00 clock with the table reservation in our restaurant Laura.
