Jörn Sternhagen is owner and cook of the country hotel Laura on the island Föhr. Despite his always full appointment calendar he takes himself still time, in order to create new tasty starters, main dish or desserts. These he serves to you with a large prize humor peppered not only in “Laura´s restaurant”, but also in his cookery book “the island cook”.
Jörn Sternhagen presents 50 of his favorite dishes, which he daily arranges with ingredients and herbs of the domestic environment. The different prescriptions are depending upon degree of difficulty in easy, medium or fastidiouse partitioned. So everyone does have the possibility to begin small and work problem-free piece by piece to the fastidious dishes, because cooking itself is not magic and is easy to learn for everyone who has fun at the meal.
The book is rounded off with a small herbology, the building guidance of a herb spiral and a “first aid” index to shrug off small and large misfortunes loosely.
